Series & Membership Bookings
Sanae Six
Effective date: 1 May 2026
A considered agreement
These terms set out the basis on which bookings, Series, and Memberships are purchased and used at Sanae Six.
They are designed to protect the experience, for you, and for those around you, while ensuring clarity, fairness, and consistency.
By making a booking or purchasing a Series or Membership, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Definitions
- Session: A single reformer Pilates class
- Series: A package of sessions purchased in advance
- Membership (The Method): A recurring monthly plan providing access to a set number of sessions
- Studio: Sanae Six locations in Oxford and Birmingham
- Client: Any individual booking or attending a session
2. Bookings
- All sessions must be booked in advance via the Sanae Six booking system
- Bookings are subject to availability
- A booking is confirmed only once payment has been received
3. Payments
- All Sessions, Series, and Memberships must be paid in full at the time of purchase
- Memberships are billed on a recurring monthly basis
- Prices may be updated with reasonable notice
4. Series (Session Packages)
- Series are valid for a specified period (as stated at the time of purchase)
- Unused sessions expire after this period and cannot be extended or refunded
- Series are non-transferable and cannot be shared
5. Memberships (The Method)
5.1 Minimum Term
- Memberships may be subject to a minimum term (e.g. 3 months), after which they continue on a rolling basis
5.2 Billing
- Memberships are billed monthly in advance
- Payment will be taken automatically on the agreed billing date
5.3 Usage
- Sessions included in a membership must be used within the billing cycle unless otherwise stated
- Unused sessions do not roll over unless explicitly specified
6. Cancellations & Rescheduling
6.1 Client Cancellations
- Sessions must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance
- Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) will result in the session being deducted
6.2 No-Shows
- Failure to attend a booked session will result in the session being forfeited
6.3 Studio Cancellations
- Sanae Six reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions where necessary
- In such cases, sessions will be credited back to the client account
7. Late Arrival
- Clients are invited to arrive 5–10 minutes before the session begins, allowing time to prepare and settle
- Entry is not permitted more than 5 minutes after the session has started
- This ensures the session remains focused, safe, and uninterrupted for all
- Missed sessions due to late arrival will be treated as a late cancellation
8. Health & Safety
- Clients are responsible for ensuring they are fit to participate
- Any injuries, medical conditions, or concerns must be disclosed prior to the session
- Sanae Six reserves the right to refuse participation where it is considered unsafe
9. Studio Etiquette
- All clients are expected to follow the Sanae Six Studio Etiquette
- This includes punctuality, respect for the space, and consideration for others
- Failure to adhere may result in refusal of entry or suspension of bookings
10. Refunds
All purchases are non-refundable except where required by law.
Unused sessions, Series, or Memberships will not be refunded.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Where services are not provided with reasonable care and skill, or where Sanae Six is unable to deliver the agreed service, appropriate remedies will be offered in line with applicable law.
Where a session is cancelled by Sanae Six, or cannot be delivered as agreed, a credit or alternative session will be provided.
10.1 Cooling-Off Period
If you purchase a Series or Membership online or over the phone, you may have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase.
Where sessions have already been used during this period, a proportionate amount will be deducted from any refund.
10.2 Exceptional Circumstances
In exceptional cases, such as injury or medical conditions preventing participation, Sanae Six may, at its discretion, offer a pause, extension, or alternative arrangement.
11. Transfers
- Sessions, Series, and Memberships are non-transferable and may only be used by the registered client
12. Suspension / Pausing Memberships
- Memberships may be paused at the discretion of Sanae Six
- Requests must be submitted in writing with at least 30 days’ notice
- Pauses may be subject to conditions, including minimum and maximum pause periods
- Pause requests take effect from the next billing cycle following the notice period
13. Termination
- Sanae Six reserves the right to terminate or suspend access where:
- Terms are breached
- Behaviour is deemed inappropriate
- Payment is not received
14. Liability
- Participation in reformer Pilates is undertaken at the client’s own risk
- Sanae Six is not liable for injuries sustained where guidance has not been followed
15. Changes to Terms
- Sanae Six reserves the right to update these terms at any time
- The latest version will always be available on our website
